- Safe rooms and storm shelters are expensive. People who live in mobile homes can't afford a brick structure, they certainly can't afford to build a safe room or storm cellar. Below ground structures are expensive in this part of the country because of water table/clay issues.

- One of the great ironies of living in the south is that basements aren't practical in most parts of tornado alley.

I'm neither sexist nor racist...but I've lived among all types of criminals and the very first thing they do(even before they confess) is to try to find someone else to pin the blame on.
